Release Time
Richard handed out a draft of Release Times for Faculty Senate Representatives. Elton Stuckley has viewed it and agrees with the release times.
Faculty Contracts
Letters of Intent have been given to Cluster Directors.  Should have your letters this week.
Faculty Pay Increases (September 2001)
Legislator has approved a flat 4% for all staff, faculty 0%. TSTC has approved a raise for the faculty.  The sum of all faculty pay was taken and the number of faculty divided 4% of that sum was the amount that the raise will become. Approx. $1800 per faculty some will be higher and some lower depending on your annual income. 
Waiver of Elections
Only 2 departments had concerns, Supplemental Educational Services and Air Conditioning/Refrigeration. All others were for and a motion was taken to suspend the elections for 1 more year.  Richard asked each officer if this was ok with them and all agreed.
President Council Meeting
Update to the telephone switching system
New COP for e-mail and internet (copy should be available on the website)
Financial- up the per-diem for meals, travel and hotels
