After the minutes were accepted as read, the following items were discussed.
President's Council Report
Jim Lillie and Susan Meyers attended the President's Council meeting. From
their notes and observations, it seems that there will be centralized
remediation. The administration plans to hire remediation specialists, in
order to ensure that the students are remediated in accordance with
appropriate and approved methods.
Blood Drive for Zak Kleypas
Sandy reminded everyone of the blood drive to be held on behalf of her
nephew on Monday, October 27, and she encouraged support for the drive.
Some Baylor students have agreed to assist in recruiting donors.
Excessive Absence Committee Formed
This recently formed committee, consisting of Pat Smith, John Hendry, and
Donna Wishon, will address the problems of the current system and pose
solutions.
