Employment Procedure (COP 2.2)

Executive Committee recommended, that the three (3) years work experience be retained and no "advanced" degree be substituted in lieu of.
Proposed Drug and Alcohol Testing Policy
Currently there is no drug and alcohol testing policy
Executive Committee has the following questions:
| Why is this suddenly a problem at TSTC? | |
| Define medical attention | |
| Define a near accident | |
| Define reasonable suspicion | |
| Is the Human Resources Director medically competent to determine if a drug test is required? | |
| Define "involved" | |
| What if an applicant admits to illegal use but already has had rehabilitation. | |
| How does drug testing improve performance? |
The Executive Committee would like to know what other colleges have a similar policy.
The Executive Committee, at this point, recommends no drug and alcohol testing policy be added to the college operating procedure.
